Simply the Best

The votes have been tallied, and for the third straight year, the readers of Omaha Magazine have again chosen Fashion Cleaners as Best of Omaha 2007. This is the third year Fashion Cleaners has been honored with Best of Omaha, one of three awards Fashion Cleaners received for 2006.

There’s no secret behind the Best of Omaha recognition, says Fashion Cleaner owner Kermit Engh. “Our clients expect the best in dry cleaning services. While they may not be aware that we’ve invested some $250,000 in the most sophisticated equipment available, this honor tells us that they know the difference.

“In addition to equipment improvements, we also give our customers the highest standard of customer service possible in order to keep their clothing looking brand new.” In addition to its Best of Omaha award, Fashion Cleaners in 2006 was also recognized for its contributions to the community.

In June, Fashion Cleaners was honored at the YWCA Omaha Annual Volunteer Dinner for its work with the YWCA’s Career Closet. Engh accepted the award on behalf of Fashion Cleaners customers and staff members who made the contributions possible. More than 550 garments were donated, cleaned and delivered to the Career Closet in 2006. The business wear helped women in need successfully return to the job force.

The Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce also honored Engh with a Golden Spike leadership award. Fashion Cleaners was one of six area businesses honored in 2006 for community leadership.
